How to reach Kheerganga
By Air: Bhuntar airport is the nearest airport, it is 31km away from Kasol.
By Road: Take a bus from Delhi to Bhuntar and from Bhuntar take a bus to Kasol, the distance between Bhuntar to Kasol is 5km.
By Rail: Joginder Nagar railway station is the nearest railway station, it is 145 km away from Kasol.
About the trek
There are two routes from Barshaini; the first one is taking a right from the bridge of Barshaini and head up to Kalga village, the trail is scenic and gentle, perfect for beginners.
The second route is Left from Barshaini bridge which will head towards Nakhthan village, the route is steeper but beautiful offering spectacular views of the valley.
Kheerganga is not a village and there is no electricity, the place offers accommodation and facilities for camping as well. It is very important to trek with some experienced guide, camping is banned at kheerganga, therefore, you can camp at Rudranag, a few kilometres before Kheerganga.
There are many cafes, restaurants and tea houses offering delicious food and the natural hot water spring Parvati Valley.
